2 fires in east Toledo, person in questioning
TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now)- Many east Toledo families were awoken by the sound of fire crews early Tuesday morning.
Fires sparked at a home on the 400 block of Thurston Street and a home on the 700 block of Euclid Avenue. Both fires began around 4 a.m.
According to the fire chief on the scene, the home on Thurston Street was "fire bombed," meaning a flammable device was tossed onto the front porch, causing the fire to quickly spread.
Three adults and two children got out of the home safely, officials say.
